Sharon Baker Regional Sales Manager for Ecophon (click to view):
Joining Saint-Gobain Ecophon in 2004 as an Area Sales Manager in the Southern team. After 3 years in this role Sharon was pleased to accept the position of Regional Manager for the South managing a team of 7 Area Sales Managers covering from the South West up an across the country to Norfolk. In addition to her role she looks after some strategic major projects with Saint-Gobain colleagues and also a key account customer. Her expertise within the business includes acoustics, all suspended ceiling and wall panel systems.

Having joined Saint-Gobain Ecophon over a decade ago as the Area Sales
Manager for the South West, covering Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and South
Wales. In 2006 Paul took the position of Regional Manager for Ireland as well as developing strategic National Key Accounts. In 2007 he moved into the position of Sales Director for the UK & Ireland managing a team of 28 with responsibility for External Sales, Internal Sales Support & Technical Support. He now holds the position of Deputy Managing Director until he move into the Managing Directors position on the 1st March. Looking forward to leading Ecophon through the current challenging market conditions & working closely with an excellent team to ensure the companies continued success.
Mark Allen Technical Product Manager for Saint-Gobain Isover (click to view):
Mark Allen joined Saint-Gobain Isover in 2011 as Technical Development Manager, bringing with him a wealth of experience. He has a number of professional qualifications including a Masters in Architecture, an MSc in Sustainable Architecture, a BA (Hons) in International Architecture. He is also a RIBA Chartered Architect, ACIAT and Passivehaus certified Designer. – ISOHH / CSCS accredited. Mark spent 10 years in the construction industry as a practicing architect, working on a number of multi-million pound new build and renovation projects in both the private and public sectors. He has extensive experience of working to Passivhaus principles and BREEAM Excellent ratings, specifying sustainable solutions to meet changing constructional methodologies and legislation. Tom Cox Innovation & Product Manager for Saint-Gobain Isover

Tom Cox joined Saint-Gobain Isover as Regional Specification Manager in 2007 having worked in various parts of the construction industry since graduating in the subject of Environmental Science in 2003. More recently he has completed the IOA (Institute of Acoustics) Post Graduate Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control from the University of Derby. During his time at Saint-Gobain Isover, Tom has played an active role in numerous working groups, providing a valuable source of technical information with regard to construction techniques and regulations.

He is an active member of the IOA and has also undertaken training in Passivhaus construction at the Passivhaus Institut in Germany. Tom’s knowledge of insulation products and the systems into which they are utilized has enabled him to identify a number of potential growth areas and niche product applications designed to drive the specification of sustainable construction solutions. He is available for comment on a range of topics including:

Helen Tunnicliffe Marketing Manager for Saint-Gobain Isover (click to view):
Helen Tunnicliffe originally joined Saint-Gobain Isover as a Technical Product
Manager in 2007. Helen’s previous role was also within the construction products industry, at an exterior lighting solutions firm. She worked there for 5 years, after having graduated from Lancaster University in the subject of Spanish and Marketing.

Since joining Isover, Helen has progressed through the ranks of the marketing
department to her current position of Marketing Manager.

During her time at Saint-Gobain Isover, Helen has widened her technical and
market knowledge significantly, to enable her to provide a valuable source of
marketing insight and information across all sectors of the construction industry. Helen’s knowledge of Isover insulation products and the systems into which they are utilized has enabled her to focus the marketing efforts of Isover in the most appropriate areas.

Tom Foster joined Saint-Gobain in 2009 as Product Manager for the New Build Residential sector. Prior to this Tom worked at Irwin Industrial Tools and Honeywell.

Tom studied Business and Marketing at Sheffield Hallam University, and is now responsible for all of the marketing and communications within the New Build Residential sector of Isover. Tom is a member of the Saint-Gobain Habitat New-Build Residential Group and has managed a number of product launches such as Isover Round-the-House-Roll.

Mark Weaver Marketing Manager for Saint-Gobain Weber (click to view):
Mark Weaver joined Saint-Gobain Weber in 2005 as Facades Business Manager for the UK. Since then he has worked his way up to Marketing Manager for Weber with the additional responsibility for Saint-Gobain’s strategic approach to the renovation sector.

Mark achieved a BA honours degree in Business Studies from Nottingham Trent University and prior to joining Saint-Gobain he worked for Lafarge Roofing in various sales, marketing and commercial projects. Mark is now a board member of INCA (the Trade Association for External Wall Insulation) and Chairman of SWIGA (the Solid Wall Insulation Guarantee Agency), where he provides expert information on solid wall insulation under the Green Deal and Eco.

Solaglas is the most broad-ranging glass-focused business in the UK, with
activities in all major segments of the glass market for the built environment.
Solaglas’ activities range from glass processing and distribution through to
commercial glazing, contracting and insurance services.

As Marketing Director, Mike is responsible for devising and implementing
strategic and tactical marketing initiatives across the Solaglas group.

Mike has worked in the construction industry for 20 years in a variety of
marketing, product development and business development roles, notably within the window systems industry.

Before joining Solaglas in January 2011, Mike’s previous role involved leading
projects to deliver innovative yet practical and reliable solutions to achieve lowcarbon building systems and solutions for house-builders and contractors.

Originally trained as an industrial designer, this experience of product innovation runs to the heart of how Mike approaches marketing programmes and customer support initiatives. Mike also holds a Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma in Marketing and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Nottingham University.
Richard Hickson Technical Specification Manager for Saint-Gobain Glass (click to view):
Richard Hickson joined Saint-Gobain in 2001 as Specification Sales Manager for Solaglas. Since then he has worked his way up to become Technical Specification Manager. Within his role at Saint Gobain Glass UK he liaises closely with architects and specifiers and has gained a reputation as a glass expert. His work has helped to put glazing into many spectacular buildings.

Before joining Saint-Gobain Richard worked for Darby Glass for six years.

Robert McAlpin National Account Manager for Saint-Gobain Abrasives

Robert Mcalpin first joined Saint-Gobain Abrasives in 1993 as a Sales Engineer for the South of England with a focus on diamond blades and machines. Today, Robert is a National Account Manager working with major contractors as well as distributors including Screwfix and Tool Station, and has a vast amount of knowledge on a variety of products from across the abrasives range.
Mike Rawlings Marketing Manager: Soil and Drain sector for Saint-Gobain PAM UK (click to view):
Mike joined Glynwed Foundries in 1978 as a Sales Clerk before it was acquired by Foundry Products Ltd, a subsidiary of the Saint-Gobain Group, in 1997. Mike has since worked in various marketing positions before being appointed Marketing Manager of the Soil and Drain sector for Saint-Gobain PAM in 1991.

Mike has a HNC in Business Studies and a Marketing Diploma with the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He was involved with “The Burning Question” campaign in 2005 which highlighted the flaws in fire collars used for passive fire protection on plastic drainage. The campaign went on to win the best business-to-business marketing communication campaign of the year.

Stuart McKill Managing Director for Pasquill (click to view):
As Managing Director of the Saint-Gobain Timber Group Stuart also heads up the Pasquill business, which he has done since 2008. During that time Pasquill has expanded its market position to become the UK's number one supplier of roof and floor solutions.

Managing a national network of 14 manufacturing sites and 21 design locations, Pasquill delivers expertise in trusses, I-Joists, Posi-Joists, Glulam and panelised roof and floor solutions. Over recent years Pasquill has also achieved a full suite of accreditations including ISO9001 quality management, ISO14001 environmental management, OHSAS18001 Occupational Health & Safety and FSC & PEFC Chain of Custody.

More recently Pasquill became the first multi-site UK timber engineering business to have its engineered timber certified with CE mark product quality on a national basis. Given the nature of the company's products there is a very strong emphasis within Pasquill on the quality and costing of design and as such Pasquill has focused considerable work around this area.

Another key issue for Pasquill is the issue of health and safety and again Pasquill has worked hard on providing safe systems of work for both its staff and customers. In line with Saint-Gobain's aim of developing a truly sustainable business, innovations to meet the requirement of modern building legislation and standards remains a key priority on Stuart's agenda.
Budhi Chilkoti General Manager for Saint-Gobain Solar (click to view):
Budhi joined Saint-Gobain Solar Systems in 2010 in the position of General Manager for the launch of the company in the UK and Ireland. He has previously worked across various industries, focusing on business development, new opportunities, commercial negotiations and advising clients on legal matters to maintain market leadership.

Budhi was a captain of super-tankers, during which time he spearheaded the design and implementation of environment and sustainability strategy and ensured compliance with various statutory requirements; streamlined carbon reporting and reduced waste generation and emissions, achieving competitive advantage and better industry positioning.

He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Southampton and an MBA from Cranfield School of Management, where he was involved in a range of solar and low carbon technologies.
